1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using SelfRecruit.me, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old. Users 13–17 should have a parent or guardian's permission and review of these Terms.
You must provide accurate information about yourself (real name, real graduation year, real sport).
One account per person.

3. What you can and cannot do

You may:

Search for and save NCAA programs that interest you
Build a recruiting profile and share it with coaches
Send personalized emails to coaches you've researched
Track your recruiting progress and milestones

You may not:

Scrape, copy, or redistribute the schools/coaches database in bulk. The data is provided for your individual recruiting use only.
Send spam or harassing messages. Each email is logged and bulk-template behavior triggers automatic limits.
Impersonate another person or misrepresent your eligibility (graduation year, sport, etc.).
Attempt to circumvent NCAA contact-period rules, rate limits, or other safeguards.
Use automation or bots against the platform (this includes signing up multiple accounts).
Resell or sublicense access to the platform.

4. NCAA compliance

The platform enforces NCAA recruiting rules including first-contact dates by sport and quiet/dead/shutdown contact periods. You are still responsible for your own compliance with all NCAA bylaws; the platform's enforcement is a guardrail, not legal advice.

5. Pricing and payments

Underclassman tier (current grade 8–10) is free. Upperclassman tier (current grade 11–12) is a one-time fee that unlocks active recruiting features. Pricing is shown on the landing page. Waitlist members may receive a fee waiver as a launch promotion.

All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. If you delete your account within 14 days of payment, contact billing@selfrecruit.me for a refund review.

6. Your content

You own everything you put into the platform (profile, messages, highlight links). You grant SelfRecruit.me a non-exclusive license to host, display, and transmit it as needed to operate the service. You can delete your content at any time.

7. Coach data

Coach contact information is sourced from publicly available NCAA athletics-program websites. We make best efforts to keep it accurate but make no warranty. If you find an error, report it via the in-app "Report a problem" link.

8. Account suspension and termination

We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms.
You may delete your account anytime in Profile settings. After 60 days, deletion is permanent.
If your account is auto-disabled (e.g., past graduation cutoff), you can request re-activation by emailing support@selfrecruit.me.

9. Disclaimers

The platform is provided "as is." We make no guarantees that you will hear back from coaches, get recruited, or receive a scholarship. The platform is a tool — your effort, performance, and academic record drive outcomes.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SelfRecruit.me's total liability arising from your use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or $0 if you used only the free tier). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced via email to active users 30 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the changes.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which SelfRecruit.me is registered. Disputes will be resolved in that jurisdiction.
